Merchandising Administrator

Join our client's dynamic team as a Merchandising Administrator and enjoy a role that's engaging, varied, and integral to the success of our client. You'll play a key part in ensuring smooth operations and collaboration across departments. Here's what you'll be doing:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Updating the product lifecycle management system up to date with the latest delivery and shipping information.
  • Ensure everything is on schedule by maintaining the critical path.
  • Make sure the Distribution Centre has all the documents they need.
  • Work closely with other teams to meet both customer and private label needs.
  • Keep freight costs current and accurate.
  • Keep all parties informed about any delays or issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Buying team on product reviews and planning for the seasons ahead.
  • Create and manage templates for seasonal purchase orders.
  • Analyse stock and sales reports to plan for seasonal rebuys.
  • Assist with in-season trading and markdown planning to help boost sales.
  • Oversee product lifecycles, including concession stocks and allocations based on sales.

Additional Tasks:

  • Help create insightful weekly trade reports.
  • Provide reports and analysis to support business needs.
  • Ensure product data is always accurate and up to date.
  • Occasionally assist at trade shows, showcasing products and building connections.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant or Junior Merchandiser or in a similar role would be ideal.
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities, with a passion for products.
  • Eager to analyse data to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Familiarity with imported goods.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
