Description
An Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Ensuring accuracy of financial documents and expense reports.
- Supporting with budget preparation and control.
- Performing general bookkeeping and payroll duties.
- Maintaining orderly financial filing systems.
- Processing supplier invoices and customer payments.
- Participating in the preparation of year-end accounts.
- Ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A strong educational background in finance or related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
