We are seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Deal area. This part-time role offers an immediate start and is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about sports and education, looking to inspire and motivate secondary-aged students.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that develop students' physical abilities and understanding of good health practices.
- Organise and coordinate sports activities, events, and competitions.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and encouragement to enhance their skills.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for all physical activities.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate physical education with other school programs.
- Encourage teamwork and fair play in the school sports setting.
- Manage sports equipment and resources, ensuring they are available and in good condition for lessons and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physical Education.
- Experience teaching PE to secondary-aged students.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to participate in physical activities.
- Knowledge of a wide range of sports and physical training techniques.
- Commitment to student safety and well-being during all physical activities.
