English Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our English Faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a stimulating classroom environment, and contributing to the development of teaching materials and programmes of study. Please note, you will need to have QTS to be considered this role.
Day to Day of the role:
- Establish effective relationships with students, staff, parents, and other professionals.
- Teach the National Curriculum and other programmes of study effectively, considering the needs of the students and the school's SEND Policy.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning.
- Encourage good working and learning habits in students.
- Provide intervention for underperforming students and utilise a variety of resources to enhance learning.
- Plan and deliver exciting, challenging, and differentiated lessons.
- Provide students with effective, relevant, and regular feedback in line with the school's Assessment for Learning policy.
- Track student progress and provide interventions as necessary.
- Contribute to the planning and development of schemes of work and resources.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school.
- Uphold the school's Health and Safety guidelines and comply with all school policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Ability to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and SEND policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- A team player with a passion for education and student development.
