Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional looking to advance your career in the pharmaceutical industry? Our successful, multi-sited pharmaceutical company in Runcorn is seeking an experienced QA Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Review: Ensure compliance and release finished products to support customer needs.
  • Quality System Management: Oversee the generation and management of Quality System documents, Risk Assessments, and Product Quality Reviews (PQRs).
  • Regulatory Support: Create documents and statements to support customer registrations and exports.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and write reports for complaints and deviations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, NPD, and Quality Control to ensure product compliance with customer contracts and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Management: Assist the QA Manager in maintaining the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and maintain FDA, MHRA, GMP, and ISO9001:2015 accreditations.
  • Validation Support: Provide support in the validation of processes and equipment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: BSc in a Science field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Quality Assurance within a GMP Quality Management system.
  • Skills: Excellent IT, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Desirable Experience: Familiarity with regulatory and validation requirements in the pharmaceutical or similar industry, and experience using Q-Pulse and Microsoft Navision software.
