Accounts Assistant

Your new company
Based in the West of Glasgow, our public sector client is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for 3 months. The contract is Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm. The role will be undertaken working on a hybrid basis, with public transport links and nearby parking.
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will take ownership of varied and fast paced workload. Your duties will include; purchase ledger, high volume processing, mailbox management, payment runs reconciliation, petty cash, journal entries, query handling and general associated finance administration.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven successful experience of the above duties. You will be able to work well both independently and as part of a team. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written as you will communicate with clients on a daily basis.
