With multiple offices in Central and Southern England and plans for expansion, our client seeks a Head of Payroll to join their Oxford office. This is a full-time position with flexible working options.

The Role:

  • Lead the payroll team of 20+
  • Manage payroll operations across the organization
  • Work with the Integration Director on service improvements
  • Financial management of the payroll function
  • Oversee multi-cycle payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Improve operating procedures and workflows
  • Promote process automation and efficiency
  • Maintain data confidentiality and security
  • Build relationships across the organization
  • Coach and develop the payroll team
  • Stay updated on relevant legislation and industry practices
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Operations teams

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a large payroll environment
  • CIPP qualification
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Tech-savvy with advanced Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel between company locations
