Interim Accounts Payable Manager | Independent Creative Agency | London
Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working exclusively with an independent creative agency to support them in their search for an Accounts Payable Manager. This position shall initially run for 4 months with the expectation that it shall become a Permanent role afterwards.

The Role:
As Interim AP Manager, you shall be responsible for the AP function within the business. With an upcoming audit, you shall adopt a 'hands on approach' to reconcile the accounts and prepare statutory reports. Outside of this project, your main duties will involve the thorough management of invoices and payments with adherence to established timeframes, overseeing the weekly payment run, reviewing VAT, and updating the daily cash book. You shall also engage with suppliers and cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders to communicate financial accuracies. Your leadership will provide immediate value to a growing finance team as you help guide them through several systems implementation processes.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and managing supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments within timeframes
- Supporting audit process
- Managing the weekly payment run and approvals
- Reviewing VAT
- Administering purchase orders
- Updating the daily cash book
- Liaising with suppliers
- Supporting with ad-hoc projects
What we need to see (essential):
- An experienced Accounts Payable leader
- Experience handling audits
- Creative background (marketing/advertising/design etc)
- Brilliant communication skills
- A proactive mindset and team player
What we need to see (bonus):
- Experience in Independent Agencies
- Systems implementation experience
Location: London (Hybrid)
Day Rate: £220-£250
