The Role
My client is a global insurance group with employee ownership at its heart. They're experts helping clients adapt and thrive in a changing world. They operate in the fields of broking, risk management, underwriting and reinsurance.
We are looking for a candidates ideally two years into their insurance career, ideally with knowledge and understanding of Reinsurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages assigned projects and contribute to other projects as required
- Provides relevant management information to Team Leader when required
- Assists in the creation of comprehensive client and broking documents
- Processes slips, quotes, indications and endorsements
- Performs technical duties (including data entry, credit control, chasing subjectivities)
- Keeps informed of all regulatory and legal changes which impacts on the job role
- Ensures up to date records are maintained at all times on the Company systems
- Responds appropriately to urgent issues as they arise
Skills & Attributes:
- Experience working in Insurance / Reinsurance
- Competent IT skills
- Able to undertake and demonstrate competence in technical training, as required by the industry regulator
- Preference will be given to applicants who have worked in Insurance or a customer facing environment
- Attention to detail with ability to produce accurate documentation
- Prioritisation and organisational skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Confident communication both written and verbal
