Are you a dedicated and passionate EYFS teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join a special educational needs school in Rugby.

Position: EYFS Teacher

Location: Rugby, UK

Start Date: September 2024

Contract: Long term, full academic year - Potential to go permanent if the right candidate is found

About the School:

The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students aged 5-11, with a focus on Autism (ASC) and Speech Language and Communication needs. The school aim to nurture the unique talents and abilities of each child, helping them to reach their full potential in a holistic way.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality education to children aged 3 to 5 years old
  • Develop key skills in communication, literacy, numeracy, and socialization
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment
  • Provide individualised attention and support to each child to ensure their academic and personal growth

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in an EYFS setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Ability to assess children's progress and tailor activities accordingly
