About the property manager role:

As Property Manager you will be responsible for meeting our obligations to landlords and tenants. You will be overseeing rental properties ensuring they are maintained to the highest standard.

You will be liaising between tenants, landlords, contractors, and other parties to continue the habitability and good upkeep of every property.

The ideal Property Manager will have an excellent telephone manner and possess good problem-solving skills with the ability to successfully deal with any conflict professionally.

In addition to this the property manager will be responsible for:

  • Responding to maintenance queries.
  • Professionally and effectively liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors; dealing with queries, issues and complaints.
  • Appointing and monitoring contractors, organising quotes for repair and maintenance on behalf of landlords.
  • Ensuring all checks are carried out as required by law, including GSCs, EPCs, EICRs, etc.
  • Arranging and attending mid-term inspections on properties.
  • Arranging the return of security deposits and any claims arising from the check outs.
  • Creating new tenancies and organising renewals.
  • Ensuring the tenant fulfills their obligations as set out in the tenancy agreement.
  • Ensuring all lettings are managed in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensuring the property management database is updated when required.
  • To promote Truepenny's in a professional manner at all times.

In order to be successful in this role you should have:

  • Previous experience in property management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Be pro-active, hardworking and dedicated.
  • Have a positive approach toward all tasks.
