7.5 TONNE DELIVERY DRIVER
WORKING 5 DAYS BETWEEN MONDAY - SATURDAY:
AM SHIFT: 0600-1700
PM SHIFT: MONDAY - THURSDAY: 10.30 - 21.30
FRIDAY: 09.30 - 20.30
SATURDAY: 07.00 - 18.00
£12.71 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our client based in Cheadle on a temp-perm basis.
You must undertake a DBS Check for this role.
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a 7.5t Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- House delivery of furniture and white goods
- You will be doing around 30 deliveries per day around the North West
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Maintain accurate records of shipment and mileage
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
Essential Skills
As a 7.5t Driver you will need to:
- Must undertake a DBS check
- Hold a valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
- Hold a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicles
- No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
- Must be able to speak and read good level of English
- Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience dealing with customers
Training
- Driving Assessment to be completed before starting
- Full training will be provided for this role after successful assessment
