Merchandiser Admin Assistant

We are a small fashion business with a busy retail website and several large wholesale accounts looking for someone to take on responsibility for the administration and studio organisation duties within the business.

This is a busy role and would suit someone looking to develop and take ownership of their duties within a dynamic and growing small business. As a small head office, we are all involved in most areas of the business so it is an interesting and engaging environment for someone who enjoys learning, getting to input their thoughts and being part of a team.

We are a flexible working office based in central London next to Hyde Park so this role has the opportunity for working from home part of the week for working on administration tasks, along with time in the studio to receive and organise samples and catch up with the team.

It is also a dog friendly office :)

Responsibilities:

  • Raising internal purchase orders for inhouse stock ranges for our website
  • customer wholesale orders
  • Keeping the purchase orders up-to-date with any date, price and style changes.
  • Ensuring that the factory have these details.
  • Ordering packaging/barcode stickers from nominated label suppliers and dispatching to suppliers in India
  • Chasing lab dips, print strike-offs, bulk fabric, pre-production samples / gold seal / press samples/photoshoot samples.
  • Communicating with designer re received samples
  • New Line products
  • Importing new lined products into shopify
  • Start to use EANs
  • Check Critical Paths against Purchase Orders sent
  • PO Summary doc - copy basic info from new POs into an over view document
  • GIL stickers organising and ordering and confirming with manufacturers
  • Creating Product Templates for wholesale customers
  • Inputting true cost prices of products on the back end of shopify

Be part of the team monitoring the progression of stock through the manufacturing cycle in order to achieve delivery dates

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good all round admin skills
  • Microsoft office experience
  • Be organized, accurate and enthusiastic to learn
  • work well within a team environment and take ownership of self-led tasks

Ideally you already have:

  • Have a placement or work experience in a merchandising or allocation role
  • Have high organisational skills and be able to multi task and prioritise
  • Strong numerical, analytical and interpretive skills
  • Have above a grade C at GCSE maths
  • Have recent relevant head office retail experience
  • Have strong IT skills and use of Excel
