Senior Manager Financial Accounting

Are you a qualified accountant ready for a new challenge? We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager in Financial Accounting on a 13-month fixed-term contract. With your SME knowledge and leadership skills, you will guide your team to deliver exceptional work that contributes to the Group's financial sustainability.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead a team in managing the Group's financial accounting and regulatory reporting activities.
- Maintain robust, timely, and accurate systems of financial control and external reporting.
- Act as a business partner to teams across the society and Audit Committee members.
- Provide expert support, advice, and challenge in relation to technical accounting queries.
- Deliver external and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory changes.
- Develop accounting policies, work with the audit committee, and liaise with external auditors.
- Provide excellent leadership, coaching, and management to create a high-performing team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, FCA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Experience in a finance leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead a team to deliver high-quality and compliant financial management and reporting.
- Financial control management experience.
- Detailed understanding of finance regulation.
- Great leadership skills and awareness of the industry and regulatory framework.
