Junior Business Administrator

We have a fantastic opportunity to work with a local company in Hemel Hempstead, an innovative and expanding business that are now looking for a Junior Business Administrator.

As part of this position, you will be responsible for assisting to cover all key functions including project delivery, sales, and marketing. We are looking for candidates who are highly organised and have strong administrative skills.

We are ideally looking for candidates with some form of office based experienced, whether you are at the start of your career looking to grow within a business or already in a position but looking for a new challenge then this could be a great opportunity for you!

This is a permanent, full-time position, hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm. This is a predominantly office-based position however there can be some flexibility on this if essential. The salary for this position is paying up to £25K depending on candidate experience.

Duties:

  • Financial reporting producing regular financial reports, including monthly sales report and a breakdown of sales, expenditure, and profit margins.
  • Survey creation, analysing/graphing the results and trends and presenting the findings.
  • Extensive diary management including co-ordination / scheduling of meetings, webinars and conference calls with precision and accuracy.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Event support including platform set up, registrations, and ensuring the event runs smoothly using online conferencing systems.
  • Creating reporting and analysing data from our digital platform to add value to current contracts.
  • Proof and formatting of client facing PowerPoint presentations, reports, and proposals.

Candidate requirements:

  • Efficient with excellent organisational abilities and written / oral communications skills.
  • A thorough command of MS Office - specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical mindset, able to interpret data and help to create a narrative.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and act on own initiative.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and able to work to a consistently high standard.
  • Capable of dealing with a fast-paced environment, varying demands, changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Able and keen to learn new skills and navigate new systems quickly.
  • Flexible, hardworking, have a 'can do' attitude and be forward thinking.
