They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of payroll and support the accountant with tax-related activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in the financial operations.
The role has many different elements to it making it a varied and challenging role. The business is about to move to new professional offices.
You will be supporting with:
Tax Compliance: Support with the preparation of self-assessment tax returns, corporation tax, and VAT returns. Hope with eh end of month management accounts, pension enrolment and quarterly returns.
Payroll Management: Calculate payroll accurately and efficiently for employees. Process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and deductions. Address payroll-related queries from employees and management.
Accounts Management:
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and statements as required.
- Handle monthly supplier payment runs and complete banking reconciliations.
- Address payroll-related queries from employees and management.
- Generate overdue reporting and analyse general ledger data.
- Undertake credit control duties.
We are looking for you to have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. You will need to have a proven experience in accounting, payroll management, and be familiar with TAX regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, would be preferrable with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Job Title: Finance Manager
Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per annum (depending on experience)
