Im delighted to be partnered with a global Hospitality and Catering who are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their dynamic finance team in Wythenshawe.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for chasing outstanding invoices, allocating payments, and performing key reconciliations.

As a Credit Controller, you will play an integral role within the finance team. Your primary responsibility will be to chase outstanding invoices, allocate payments, and perform key reconciliations. You will also be tasked with minimising overdue debt, preparing cash flow forecasts, documenting AR processes, and working closely with reconciliation analysts. Your ability to manage customer queries effectively and follow up on resolutions will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will handle month-end processes, validate discount claims, and run regular aged debt reports.

  • Minimise the level of overdue debt and days sales outstanding by sending statements and dunning correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Escalate issues or concerns relating to payments while ensuring daily cash allocation.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and document AR processes with regular reviews.
  • Work closely with reconciliation analysts to better understand debt on self-bill accounts.
  • Keep accurate records of rebate invoicing and share with procurement regularly.
  • Perform AR/AP contras where appropriate and manage customer queries effectively.
  • Follow up resolution and escalate where appropriate while managing month-end processes.
  • Validate discount claims while running regular aged debt reports and updating commentary.

  • Previous experience in a credit control role is essential.
  • Possesses high levels of resilience and able to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills are required.
  • Good time management skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Persistence in progress chasing and follow-up is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, Internet, Outlook.
