Housing Repairs and Voids Manager required for an immediate start.
Opus People Solutions on behalf of Milton Keynes City Council are looking for a hands-on Housing Repairs and Voids Manager to join their team on a 3-6-month contract.
As a Housing Repairs and Voids Manager you will have direct responsibility for managing the contractors delivering responsive repairs and voids across the housing stock of around 11,000 homes. This will include monitoring the quality of work done to drive a first-time fix and ensuring satisfactory outcomes for tenants.
Key skills required
- Solid experience in Housing Repairs and Maintenance sector
- Managing teams
- Experience managing budgets
- Experience of working with regulators, including Regulator Social Housing, Fire Authority and Housing Ombudsman
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
This exciting opportunity will require you to visit properties within Milton Keynes daily so you will need to provide your own vehicle; however, fuel allowance is given.
