We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Quality and Environmental Assistant to join our clients manufacturing team in Derby. This role offers hands-on experience in quality assurance and environmental management. The ideal candidate will be proactive and eager to learn, working closely with the Quality, Environmental, and Sustainability Manager to support the management systems. Day to day duties will include:
- Develop and implement quality management systems.
- Participate in internal audits and inspections.
- Collaborate on quality control plans with project teams.
- Create and maintain quality documentation.
- Support employee training on quality processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for compliance.
- Investigate and analyse non-conformance issues.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards.
- Monitor and report on environmental performance.
- Assist in external audits and inspections.
