Permanent Role
Our client based in Halesowen is looking for a Machine tool Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role will be on rotating shifts, Monday to Thursday 6am to 14:00pm, Monday to Thursday 10:00am to 18:30pm, Friday 10:00am to 16:00pm. 2.5hours paid at premium of time and third time at £18.52 after 37.5 hours.
Job Description:
- Machine shop fitter working on lathes
- All heavy kit
- Changing Valves
- Working on Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Fitting pumps
- Maintaining and fixing faults
- Mechanically biased not electrical
- To carry out planed and reactive maintenance on Somer's plant, equipment and buildings To work proactively on improving plant reliability.
- Carrying out planned maintenance schedules and help implementation and updating of CMMS.
Ideal Candidates :
- Must be apprentice trained
- Mechanically biased mechanical fitter
- Heavy industry only not food
