Receptionist

A manufacturing company based in Livingston is looking for a Receptionist to join their growing team.

Your new role

You'll hit the ground running in this short, but hands-on role. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Being the first point of contact for incoming calls and queries, and transferring them to the relevant person.
  • Issue sign-in cards, greet visitors, and direct them to the appropriate person/department.
  • Manage visitor and contractor induction procedures, updating the register.
  • Operate access gates into the site.
  • Handle deliveries, organise couriers, and perform general administrative tasks (scanning, filing, creating induction packs etc.).
  • Coordinate the fire roll call procedure and update the registers.
  • Handling ingoing and outgoing mail.
  • Prepare meeting rooms and arrange catering and refreshments when applicable.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to pick things up quickly.
  • Adaptable.
  • Be a keen learner with a good work ethic.
