Spa Manager - Full Time

Salary: £32,000 - £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus service and benefits

Job Description:
The role presents significant potential for progression, with the successful candidate leading an existing team, delivering exceptional treatment services, and implementing change as part of a spa redevelopment project scheduled for the next 12 to 18 months. The business has committed to a £5 million investment to enhance the spa facilities, offering a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to flourish.
Ideally suited to a passionate and experienced spa professional who thrives in a leadership position, this hands-on leadership role involves overseeing daily spa operations with hands-on treatments and offers considerable autonomy.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of operations and management experience in a hotel or luxury spa
- NVQ/SVQ Beauty and Spa Therapy Level 3 qualification or above
- Excellent people management and guest service skills
- Availability to work weekends
- Work authorisation in the UK
- Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
- Strong communication, motivation, and leadership abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality services, exceeding customer expectations
- Performing beauty treatments (facials, massages, waxing, manicures, pedicures)
- Leading, developing, and motivating the spa team to achieve excellence
- Maximising profitability through effective spa management
- Driving revenue by delivering treatments, upselling products, and creating memorable experiences
- Ensuring a welcoming and relaxing environment for customers
- Leading recruitment, training, and performance management of spa staff
- Achieving monthly activity targets, driving sales and customer retention
- Enforcing internal policies and procedures for client and employee safety
- Overseeing marketing and customer relationship management initiatives
- Performing a full range of facial and body treatments according to standards
