Spa Manager - Full Time

Location: Aberdeen, Scotland

Salary: £32,000 - £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus service and benefits

Job Description:

The role presents significant potential for progression, with the successful candidate leading an existing team, delivering exceptional treatment services, and implementing change as part of a spa redevelopment project scheduled for the next 12 to 18 months. The business has committed to a £5 million investment to enhance the spa facilities, offering a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to flourish.

Ideally suited to a passionate and experienced spa professional who thrives in a leadership position, this hands-on leadership role involves overseeing daily spa operations with hands-on treatments and offers considerable autonomy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of operations and management experience in a hotel or luxury spa
  • NVQ/SVQ Beauty and Spa Therapy Level 3 qualification or above
  • Excellent people management and guest service skills
  • Availability to work weekends
  • Work authorisation in the UK
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
  • Strong communication, motivation, and leadership abilities

  • Performing beauty treatments (facials, massages, waxing, manicures, pedicures)
  • Leading, developing, and motivating the spa team to achieve excellence
  • Maximising profitability through effective spa management
  • Driving revenue by delivering treatments, upselling products, and creating memorable experiences
  • Ensuring a welcoming and relaxing environment for customers
  • Leading recruitment, training, and performance management of spa staff
  • Achieving monthly activity targets, driving sales and customer retention
  • Enforcing internal policies and procedures for client and employee safety
  • Overseeing marketing and customer relationship management initiatives
  • Performing a full range of facial and body treatments according to standards
