Title: Cleanroom Construction Project Manager Needed in Oxford (6 month contract)

Introduction:
Experienced project manager needed to oversee a cleanroom construction project in Oxford. The project is being undertaken by a reputable construction company with extensive experience in this sector.

Job Description:
The project manager will oversee all aspects of the cleanroom construction process. The ideal candidate should have mechanical and process backgrounds as well as previous experience working on similar projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop detailed plans including timelines, resource allocation, risk management strategies etc.
- Monitor progress against established objectives and report regularly on metrics such as budget spending or completion rates
- Troubleshoot issues which may arise during any phase of development

Qualifications/ Skills Required:
- Degree or equivalent qualification relevant to civil engineering/construction field
- Proven track record managing large scale infrastructure/civils works contracts/projects valued at £5m+
- Sound knowledge of environmental & sustainability guidelines/practices; familiarity with Building Regulations would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills coupled with excellent communication abilities - verbal/written formats inclusive
- Proficient use of IT packages essential, including MS office suite particularly Excel software package

This is initially a six months contract position and we prefer candidates living in or around Oxford but individuals willing to relocate are also welcome to apply. The successful candidate must be able to handle both strategic and operational tasks efficiently.
