Senior Treasury Analyst, UK Bank - £80,000 - £120,000 + bens + bonus (range dependant on experience)

Brilliant opportunity to join one of the leading-lights in UK banking as part of their scale-up phase after several years of impressive revenue growth and reaching profit milestones.

If you are from the UK Banking market and have experience in a mid to large Bank or lender and want some excitement in your life – this could be for you.....

You'll report in to the Head of Treasury and a join a team of four who are responsible for managing the balance sheet, liquidity and IR risks for the bank. You'll help with a new system implementation and a broad range of things related to building a class-leading Treasury function.

Key Purpose:

  • Assist with managing the risks within the balance sheet covering interest rate risk, funding and liquidity
  • Execution of Treasury investments
  • Development and maintenance of banking relationships
  • Development of the modelling and MI to support the management of the Bank's interest rate risk and liquidity position
  • Support the implementation of a new TMS
  • Design and production of management information for ALCO and Board
  • Supporting the management of the day-to-day cash position of the bank
  • Supporting the interest rate risk hedging processes
  • Developing cashflow forecasts, including scenario planning around asset performance impact on liquidity.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a Treasury environment or Treasury Accounting
  • Experience within liquidity risk reporting
  • Excellent modelling skills, including advanced excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Track record of driving process improvements and simplification
  • Execution experience across Treasury hedging and investments
  • Qualified Accountant, ACT or related Treasury qualification
