BDM - Broker Development/ Insurance
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum plus commission
Location: Fully Remote
MERJE is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) for a leading insurance claims solutions provider. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth by developing relationships with insurance brokers and referral partners. The ideal candidate will have extensive insurance industry experience and exceptional communication skills.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be responsible for expanding broker relationships, achieving revenue goals, and supporting franchise partners. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand relationships with insurance brokers to generate high-quality claim leads
- Achieve KPI and revenue goals within company-owned and franchise territories
- Coach and train new franchise partners to enhance sales strategies and increase profitability
- Generate and nurture leads through various channels, including face-to-face meetings and industry events
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, particularly FCA rules
Required knowledge and experience:
- 3-4 years' prior industry-related business development experience
- Proven expertise in the insurance sector, particularly in developing broker relationships
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Track record of meeting and exceeding business development targets
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
