Full-time, 37 hours per week

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in construction? We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead and manage critical projects involving underground cables, overhead lines, and substation works up to 132kV. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team in Andover for an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.
  • Manage contracts effectively, with a preference for those experienced in NEC construction contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear and effective communication.
  • Identify and solve problems swiftly and efficiently, maintaining project momentum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering qualification and recognised certification in construction safety and project management.
  • Previous experience in managing projects involving underground cables, overhead lines, and substation works up to 132kV.
  • Relevant experience in other sectors or utilities will also be considered.

Skills and Experience

  • Solid experience in contract management.
  • Thorough understanding of the duties of Client, Principal Designer, and Principal Contractor under CDM 2015.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.

Additional Requirements:

  • Regular travel is required, so a current driving licence is essential.
