HSEQ Co-ordinator

Our client seeks a Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Co-ordinator to join a well-established organisation. As a Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Co-ordinator you will be responsible for maintaining compliance within the industry's regulatory framework and legal requirements as well as maintain internal policies and procedures. You will be responsible for supporting the quality strategy and working with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risk.

Main Duties

  • Develop and implement compliance programmes and policies and conducting risk assessments
  • Ensure the company has internal controls that adequately measure and manage the risks that the company faces
  • Design and update internal policies to mitigate the risk of the company breaking laws and regulations and lead internal audits of procedures
  • Communicate the company's key ethical principles, regulatory changes and compliance regulations
  • Maintain complete and accurate compliance documentation
  • Track and report compliance violations or irregularities
  • Keep up to date with new laws and regulation changes
  • Identify areas where improvements could be made
  • Develop and update health, safety and environmental policies to ensure business compliance
  • Design and deliver EHS training to all staff at all levels

Skills and Knowledge

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience of: ISO9001, ISO14001 is required
  • Have a good understanding of the regulated environment
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certificate or equivalent NVQ Level 3 qualification
  • Excellent people skills and expertise in communication and negotiation
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis
