JOB- SAP Co-Ordinator

LOCATION- Warickshire

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £25,000 to £30,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is seeking a meticulous and organized SAP Co-Ordinator to join our client's manufacturing team in Warickshire. Our client is a leader in their industry, producing high-quality components for the commercial and retail sector.

The SAP Co-Ordinator will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Proven experience in production planning, SAP Coordination or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in SAP database management, specifically to part numbering and BOMs.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Information Systems, or a related technical field However not essential
  • Proficiency or a strong understanding in CAD softwares and Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Technical understanding or familiarity with materials and manufacturing techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

The SAP Co-Ordinator role will involve:

  • Updating and maintaining the part numbering to meet customer demands and optimize workflow
  • Coordinating with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
  • Input new part numbers into the system, interpreting technical drawings and specifications with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Develop and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) for complex assemblies, ensuring alignment with technical documentation and manufacturing requirements.
  • Organize and manage Kits, coordinating with production to ensure completeness and accuracy of components.
  • Collaborate with Sales, production, and design teams to ensure data integrity and consistency across all technical documentation and SAP entries.
  • Conduct regular audits of the database to identify and correct any discrepancies.
  • Provide training and support to other team members on SAP database management and procedures.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for part number creation and BOM management.
