Desktop Support Engineer required for a large corporate organisation based in the City of London.

Please note: this is a fully on site role and engagement is via PAYE (Gross pay £172.40 per day)

As a member of the Service Management Team you will be responsible for the provision of 1st & 2nd line IT Support and incident resolution to laptops and related components.

General responsibilities: -

  • Respond to requests via phone, email and face to face
  • Resolution of 1st or 2nd line incidents and requests related to laptop tech
  • Triage of incidents and allocation to relevant 3rd line support teams
  • Working within controlled performance targets
  • Utilising Incident and Configuration Management tools with processes to assist in the control of asset tracking

Skills and technologies required: -

  • Windows 10
  • Microsoft Surface devices
  • Office 365 BYOD - iOS / Android / Intune
  • Supporting Remote Working technologies including RSA token configuration, MFA, Windows Virtual Desktop
  • AD Admin
  • PC networking skills
  • SCCM or Intune
  • Hardware Support
  • Ability to communicate with VIPs
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
