Grafton Banks Finance Recruitment is currently assisting a growing SME in Headcorn recruit a Financial Controller to manage a small finance function and help expand the business. This is a newly created role, reporting to the CFO and will suit a career-driven and ambitious finalist (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or someone who is qualified by experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cashflow reporting and forecasting.
- Team management of 3 staff members in finance.
- Working closely with the CFO to analyse profitability and making recommendations.
- Responsibility for monthly management accounts and annual financial reports/audits.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Flexibility to take on more responsibility in the longer term.
The successful candidate:
- Finalist (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
- Experience as Financial Controller / Finance Manager, to include cash flow forecasting, balance sheet recs, yearend audit.
- Experience with SAP and Power BI.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Living within commutable distance of Headcorn, Kent.
This role is paying a competitive salary of up to £65,000 per annum plus benefits and hybrid working (2 days from home after getting up to speed).
