Reed is working in close partnership with a leading Insolvency Practice, with offices across the UK, in the appointment of an experienced, permanent, and full-time Practice Manager.

This is an exciting time to join this growing practice, with the business partners fostering a company culture of a healthy work/life balance and their primary focus is on delivering the highest quality insights for clients.

The Practice Manager will play an important role in the business, providing leadership to the finance and accounting functions of the company ensuring that the Corporate Financial aspects of the business are managed. The position involves a broad range of administrative and financial roles to ensure the smooth and professional running of the office.

The role:

  • Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts;
  • General ledger, forecasting and budgeting, and cash flow monitoring;
  • Monthly reporting of financial performance;
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management
  • Running monthly payroll including HMRC Real-time Reporting;
  • HMRC Compliance and Record keeping (PAYE NIC and VAT);
  • Maintaining company records to ensure on-going compliance and governance;
  • Basic HR administration through maintaining staff records;
  • Responsibility for all Corporate Banking Functions including Main Business Accounts, Deposits and Petty Cash;
  • General Front of House Management, Key-holding duties
  • Adhere to regulatory and legal requirements, e.g. Data Protection
  • Liaise with clients to ensure our billings are paid in accordance with contractual obligations
  • Liaise with Cashiering function on invoicing matters
  • Front of house client hosting

Essential Criteria:

  • Applications are welcome from both fully qualified accountants and those who are qualified by experience
  • Excellent communication and professional skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
  • Experience with Sage & HR Admin would be advantageous
