Tradewind Recruitment is a leading education recruitment agency. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Team-Teach trained Teaching Assistant to join a SEND school in Bootle.
About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a SEND school setting. The successful candidate will be working 1:1 and in small groups with children with ASD, PMLD, CLD and Medical Needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to children in a SEND school environment.
- Work collaboratively with another member of staff to ensure the child's needs are met effectively.
- Employ Team-Teach techniques and strategies to manage challenging behaviors.
- Support the child's learning and development, considering their individual needs and abilities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEND children is essential.
- Team-Teach training certification is required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High level of English language skills.
