Client & Project: We are seeking for a new talent to join the Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate on a project for a leading global financial services firm with assets and operations worldwide. The firm is a leader in investment banking, financial services for consumers and small businesses, commercial banking, financial transaction processing, and asset management.

  • Responsibilities: As an Android Lead Developer, you will lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • You will be expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • You will be responsible for team decisions and will engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Kotlin Programming Language is required.
  • Java with Advanced proficiency, Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) with Intermediate proficiency, CI/CD with Advanced proficiency, Agile Software Development Lifecycle with Advanced proficiency, and React Native with Intermediate proficiency are recommended.
  • Improve code structure, have an impact on architecture, & review code of any scope produced by the team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Write clean, maintainable code and ensure best practices are used
  • Own larger pieces of work, assist with design & technical/implementation choices & influence the direction
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Help implement and maintain automated tests to ensure high code quality Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  • Mentor and support the personal growth of other colleagues, encouraging efficiency in their roles.
