Are you a commercially minded Head of Finance seeking a role with a successful growing business based in the West London ?
Our client a leading business in the Transport, Logistics and Global Distribution Sector who is seeking to recruit a commercially minded Head of Finance to join its growing team in West London.
The Company has exciting growth plans, and the role offers the potential to progress for the successful individual. Due to the seniority of the role, it is office based as it is important that you are included in key decisions and are available to offer commercial support across the business as needed.
Key responsibilities as a Head of Finance include:
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will use your commercial acumen and exceptional accountancy skills to control the finance function of the Company.
- Responsible for all financial matters and establish company-wide financial objectives, targets, and develop budgets
- Developing a finance dashboard to report the key drivers to senior management in the business, as well as providing strategic advice to the CEO
- Preparation of monthly management accounts pack and associated commentary in a timely manner
- Managing the development and training of the finance team, providing support where needed
- Forecasting and managing cash positions across the business
- The preparation of annual budgets that include Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Cash Forecast, various other summaries as required and full supporting schedules.
- Ensuring robust financial controls, processes and procedures are in place and operating to the highest possible standards
- Produce monthly statistics, reporting on key performance indicators.
- Ensure all statutory deadlines and payments are adhered to.
- Liaising directly with external stakeholders and accountants and dealing with any queries
As a Head of Finance you will:
- Be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or similar)
- Previous staff supervisory experience
- Be seeking a role in a growing business where you can add value, modernise and improve efficiencies of the finance function
