Validation Engineer

Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm

This role will focus on:

As a Validation Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving world-class manufacturing within the bio-pharmaceutical industry by continuously identifying opportunities for improvement. You will be responsible for ensuring that all tools and equipment across the organisation are validated to the required standards. You will work collaboratively across production and other business units, acting as a key driver in the effectiveness and efficiency of the company's manufactured products. Close collaboration with our Quality Assurance and Metrology departments will be essential to deliver approvals in a timely manner.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Leading the planning of verification activities for the system and equipment.
  • Managing the validation life cycle for all projects.
  • Ensuring tests are designed in alignment with product requirements with full traceability.
  • Create detailed test plans, execution of testing activities, analysis of results and compiling of documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and quality departments to ensure test method, equipment and materials are available in line with company timelines.
  • Analyse and interpreting data with precision and contributing to design reviews and collaborative discussions.
  • Work with planning and operations to schedule validation time lines to ensure business requirements are met.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Validation Engineer, ideally in the pharmaceutical, Medical Devices or biotechnology industry.
  • Qualification in Engineering or related technical field and/or qualified by experience.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations and guidelines such as ISO14001.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Training or experience in GAMP5.
  • Any experience with Injection Molding and Automation is advantageous although not essential.
