This Senior Accountant position comes with management responsibilities, ideal for professionals looking to develop their leadership skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the accounts department.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
- Provide strategic tax and business advice to clients.
- Prepare financial statements (FRS102 & FRS105) and management accounts.
- Handle VAT returns and advanced bookkeeping.
Who You Are:
- A Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience in a client-facing role within an accounting practice.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of working independently.
- Technologically adept, particularly with modern accounting software and Excel.
- Strong communicator with a robust work ethic and a readiness to take on new challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some management experience is advantageous but not required.
- A keen interest in business and financial strategy.
