HR Administrator

Robert Half are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Administrator to join a client of ours based in Portishead for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. This role will play a key part in supporting a project, to transition all people data to their HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and streamline processes. Alongside this project, you will also provide general administrative support across a range of HR tasks.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a transformative HR project while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic environment. The role will offer hybrid and flexible working from their Portishead offices, and is due to start ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in migrating employee files and data into the HRIS system.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR and people data during the transition process.
  • Help streamline HR processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Provide administrative support across the HR function, including maintaining employee records, responding to queries, and assisting with onboarding and offboarding procedures.
  • Support HR team members with day-to-day tasks and project-related duties as required.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience as an administrator desired.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels.
  • Experience with HR systems or databases is highly desirable.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
