The Role:
We are currently looking for confident, enthusiastic, and skilled
GCSE Tutors
to join our growing team in Gateshead. As a tutor, you will provide high-quality, one-to-one support to students, ensuring they excel in their GCSE subjects. You'll play a key role in guiding students through challenging topics, improving their academic performance, and boosting their confidence in learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused, personalised tuition across various GCSE subjects, ensuring students grasp core concepts.
- Design engaging, interactive lesson plans that adapt to individual learning styles.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting your approach to meet their evolving needs.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that motivates students to achieve academic success.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and areas for improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum across key subjects.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build positive, impactful relationships with students.
- A passion for helping students succeed and confidence in teaching up to GCSE level.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with KS3 and KS4 students.
- Proven success in helping students achieve academic goals through one-on-one tutoring.
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and boost student confidence.
