Logistics Coordinator Manchester Airport £27,500 - £35,000 + Shift Allowance + Benefits
Our client is a leading global premium road and air freight service provider, specialising in express same-day service across Europe. They collaborate directly with multinational companies to manage complex end-to-end supply chains, ensuring timely delivery of all shipments through multi-modal solutions. Their integrated and enhanced solution approach delivers exceptional service worldwide**.** You will typically work Monday - Friday on a shift rotation which includes days and lates, and would work one weekend in 4 on an on call basis. There is hybrid working available after successful completion of probation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse client requests, cost delivery options, and provide detailed recommendations.
- Coordinate transportation and ensure deadlines are met.
- Engage where appropriate with sub-contractors, 3PL's and hauliers to fulfil customer deliveries.
- Monitor deliveries from start to finish with UK and global partners, ensuring customers are updated throughout.
- Maintain clear communication with colleagues, shippers, and carriers.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in arranging and coordinating multi-modal transport services.
- Commercial mindset with ability to problem solve and deliver cost effective solutions to customers.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy, crucial for maintaining high standards and efficiency.
- Ability to perform productively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, shippers, and carriers.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, with a commitment to ensuring operational success.
