Summary:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Senior Project Manager to join an established 3PL business. The role focuses on leading the Supply Chain development transformational strategy process, effectively identifying and initiating Supply Chain improvement projects across the business. These projects could range from supporting strategic transport network design, supporting warehouse layout and process design, including the fit out of new facilities. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in transformational and strategic development roles in logistics, retail or FMCG manufacture, confident delivering multimillion €/£ projects.
This role operates on a hybrid basis and they will offer a relocation package to applicants from the UK to move to Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively identify and initiate Supply Chain improvement projects
- Support on strategic transport network design projects
- Support on warehouse layout and process design projects, including the fit-out of new facilities
- Manage the tendering of 3PL contracts
- Identify and research warehouse automation and advanced transport technologies
- Present project outcomes persuasively at board level
Experience:
- Proven experience in transformational strategic development roles in logistics, retail or FMCG manufacture
- Experience presenting confidently at board level
- Track-record of delivery of multimillion €/£ projects.
- An in-depth knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain process, including related continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong influencing skills, able to influence cross-functional teams across a business.
