If so, we want to hear from you! Pertemps are recruiting for an Extrusion Operative to join our esteemed client who have grown immensely from family beginnings over 70 years ago. This is a full time permanent position.
Extrusion Operative Duties;
- To produce quality extruded product
- To assist with extrusion line setting and operation
- Head, die and pin changing and setting
- Barrel and screw cleaning
- Assist with the start up and shut down of the extrusion lines
- Monitor and maintain quality
- Assist extrusion setters and other operatives
- Trim, cut, wrap and pack extruded product
- Bend, form and drill extruded product
- Follow and understand operating procedures
Extrusion Operative Requirements;
- Previous experience in a similar role
- A clear understanding of extrusion equipment and methodology
- Ability to set and operate an extrusion line
- Manual dexterity
- Well motivated and a reliable team member
- Flexibility and availability to support with overtime when required
Extrusion Operative Package;
- Salary up to £34,420 negotiable depending on experience
- Monday - Thursday 7.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 7.00am to 1pm
- Overtime available and paid at time and a third
- 25 days annual leave plus public holidays
