Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Manager to join a growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Liverpool. This role primarily focuses on providing tax advisory services to a broad range of clients, with the potential for career progression to Director or Partnership level in the future.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax advisory, excellent communication skills, and the ambition to take on more responsibility as the firm continues to expand. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-level tax advice, managing client relationships, and supporting the firm's leadership in developing new business opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities

:

  • Tax Advisory Services: Provide expert tax advisory services to clients across various sectors, including corporate tax, personal tax, and VAT.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored tax solutions.
  • Business Development: Assist in identifying new opportunities for the firm, actively engaging in networking and marketing efforts to grow the client base.
  • Compliance Oversight: Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring all compliance obligations are met.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage junior staff, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Strategic Input: Contribute to the firm's strategic growth, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and service delivery.
  • Future Leadership: Potential for progression to Director or Partnership level, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of the firm.

**Candidate Requirements

:

  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualification.

  • Experience: Proven experience in tax advisory roles, preferably within a practice environment.

  • Skills:

  • Strong technical tax knowledge across various sectors.

  • Excellent client management and communication skills.

  • Ability to lead and mentor a team.
