Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + bonus

The role of the Design Estimator - Fire Detection & Security Systems will involve:
- Design Estimator position dealing with the design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire, suppression, voice, security and integrated systems
- Working with main contractors, M&E contractors and end users
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and enquiries
- Offering technical support to the sales team with surveys, client meetings and pre & post tender meetings where required
- Liaise with clients to discuss the technicalities of their requirements
- Building and developing relationships with clients predominantly over telephone
- Attending occasional client meetings and site surveys as and when required
- Project order values can vary from £10,000 - £1,000,000
The ideal applicant will be a Design Estimator - Fire Detection & Security Systems with:
- Must have design and quotation experience in the fire and security market sector
- Sound knowledge of various systems such as: Fire Alarm & Fire Detection, EVC Systems, Evacuation Alert Systems, PAVA, Air Sampling, Atex & IS Systems, Gas Suppression, Access Control, CCTV, Intruder, PA Systems
- Must be confident and have excellent telephone manor
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Stable career background
- Attention to detail and methodical organisational skills
