Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working on an exclusive basis with a well regarded and established business in Rotherham as they look to bring in a new Management Accountant into the team. The business is profitable and continues to grow, with a current turnover of approx. £100 Million.
The is a well rounded Management Accountant role encompassing management accounts production, business partnering and FP&A.

Duties will be varied and include:-
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for variances from budget and forecasts
- Maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning and suggest improvements
- Support the annual budgeting process
- Monitor budget performance and update forecasts based on actual performance and changing business conditions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations
- Monitor internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data and suggests improvements
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as required by management
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial systems and processes for improved efficiency and accuracy
- Lead or participate in finance-related projects to support business objectives
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experiences: -
- CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified (Late Part Qualified will also be considered)
- Previous management accounting experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Good organisation skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Being able to work to deadlines on a regular basis
- Previously assisted with annual audits
- Hard working and dedicated
- Attention to detail
