Covering clients over Suffolk Essex and Cambridge, base Cambridge -
The role
As part of growth our clients are seeking a family paralegal to join a busy team.
- Excellent organisational skills and diary management to coordinate and schedule client meetings, court ordered documents and court hearings.
- Initiative and a strong knowledge of family law practices, procedures and terminology
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to assist solicitors with a diverse caseload.
- Maintenance of accurate and organised case files including invoicing.
- A good level of literacy and keyboard skills
- Friendly telephone manner
- Efficient IT and administration skills to facilitate file set up, compliance checks, collating e-bundles and lodging applications with the Family Court
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate empathy towards clients' situations.
- Experience in family law
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team
- A genuine drive and passion for family law
- An approachable and sociable demeanour
- Great communication skills
