Hart Door Systems are looking for Administration Personell to join our fantastic team and support the growth of our business.

Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, we are a family-owned business that was founded in 1946. We manufacture a range of industrial doors and install though out the UK as well as service overseas contracts. We bring generations of engineering experience and pioneering product expertise to customers worldwide.

The role:

This is a new role and still in development and currently involves working as part of a small team. You would be responsible for providing administrative assistance directly to the Ledger Clerk

Duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:-

Purchase Ledger duties:

  • Collection of incoming delivery notes from factory office and matching to purchase orders
  • Checking, collation, matching and filing of the above documents
  • Follow up data entry to in-house stock and order database
  • Collect incoming purchase invoices from mail / email, match, chase suppliers for missing invoices & delivery notes, save and distribute to the Ledger Clerk for coding
  • Sorting of invoices alphabetically, numerically for passing to Finance Manager

Sales Ledger duties:

  • Printing of sales invoice control totals from database and check for missing invoices
  • File office copies and copies for the Finance Manager
  • Printing remittances and allocating copy to sales invoice
  • Sales Ledger filing and general administration
  • Email out customer statements monthly
