We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Junior Designer based in Central London.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Develop proficiency in using AutoCAD and Revit software to gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of technical design.
- Demonstrate strong listening, communication, numeracy, organisational, and IT skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Adhere to all company procedures and policies, including quality, health, and safety guidelines.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills with a desire to develop practical solutions.
- Convert verbal and written information into accurate two-dimensional drawings for on-site construction, demonstrating attention to detail.
- Build, develop, and maintain good relationships with external customers and subcontractors.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance.
- Show a willingness to undertake future training and continue personal development.
Essential:
- Proven experience in designing within the Mechanical & Electrical industry.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD or Revit.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Interview Process:
The selection process consists of two stages: the first interview will be conducted via Teams, followed by a final face-to-face interview.
