Financial Accounting Manager

We are thrilled to announce a new opportunity within our team for a Financial Accounting Manager role on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified within ACCA/ACA/CIMA and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar management role.

What you will be doing:

  • Development and maintenance of policies and procedures
  • Ongoing monitoring and resolution of internal/external audit points
  • Preparation and monitoring of a monthly financial controls timetable
  • Monthly review of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly review & reporting of group balance sheet including consolidation of group R&O
  • Manage and review central functions P&L (including budget & forecasting)
  • Key audit contact
  • Preparation of Going Concern paper
  • Investment and Goodwill impairment reviews
  • Ownership of Holding Companies
  • Management of Financial Accountant & Assistant Financial Accountant, including training, ongoing development and success in role
  • Review of below EBITDA (including budget & forecasting)
  • Prepare and monitor the month end and year end closedown timetable
  • Support with acquisition accounting
  • Monthly review of CAPEX
