Job Description
Job Duties:
- Performing various manual tasks on construction sites such as digging trenches, laying foundations, and installing drainage systems
- Operating and maintaining a range of hand and power tools
- Assisting with the setting out of sites and ensuring work is carried out to specifications
- Working collaboratively with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Required Qualifications:
- CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- Valid UK driving licence
Education:
No specific educational requirements
Experience:
- Prior experience working as a Ground Worker in the construction industry
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools
- Understanding of construction site safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications to operate machinery
- First Aid training
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Physical demands including heavy lifting and bending
- Potential exposure to loud noise and dust on construction sites
