Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join a client of Trinity House Group on a temporary basis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our senior accountant, playing a pivotal part in the preparation and posting of management accounts.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting the senior accountant to prep and post management accounts
- Supporting the financial planning and analysis process
- Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Preparation of VAT and other statutory returns
- Assisting with the year-end audit process
Preferred Requirements:
- Proven experience in management accounting or financial analysis
- Strong understanding of VAT and statutory return preparation
- Proficiency in financial planning and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Relevant certifications in financial planning and analysis
